How do I bookmark TechTerms.com?

Bookmarking TechTerms.com allows you to access the Tech Terms Computer Dictionary with a single click. This makes it easy to look up a definition whenever you come an unknown term. Below are intructions on how to bookmark this website for different web browsers and computer platforms.

Before completing the following steps, make sure the URL in your address bar reads:  https://techterms.com

Windows

Chrome

Press Control+D or click the star icon (☆) on the far right side of the address bar. This will add the page to your bookmarks. You can then choose to rename it and choose a specific folder for the bookmark.

Edge

Press Control+D or click the star icon (☆) in the upper-right corner of the window, just below the address bar. You can then rename the bookmark and save it in a specific Favorites folder.

Internet Explorer

Bookmarks are called "Favorites" in Internet Explorer. Press Control+D or click the Favorites button beneath the address bar, the select "Add to Favorites..." You can customize the name of the bookmark and save it in a specific Favorites folder.

Firefox

Press Control+D or click the star icon (☆) to the right of the search field in the upper-right corner of the browser window. Before saving the bookmark, you can rename it and choose where to save it.


Mac

Safari

Press Command+D or select "Add Bookmark..." from the Bookmarks menu. You can also click the "Show sidebar" option next to the back and forward buttons to show your bookmark list in the left side of the browser window. Then you can click the icon to the left of the URL and drag it to a specific bookmark folder. Alternatively, you can also drag the icon to the Favorites Bar (if it is displayed) to save the bookmark in the Favorites bar for easy access.

Firefox

You can either press Command+D, click the star icon (☆) to the right of the search bar, or select "Bookmark this Page..." from the Bookmarks menu. You may also click the icon next to the URL and drag it to the Bookmarks Toolbar directly below the address field.


iOS

Safari

Press the "Share" icon in the middle of the toolbar at the bottom of the webpage (scroll up if the toolbar is not displayed). Tap the "Add Bookmark" icon and choose the name of the bookmark and where you would like to save it. You can also tap "Add to Favorites" to quickly add the bookmark to your Favorites bar. If you sync your devices with iCloud, this will also add the bookmark to the Favorites bar in Safari on your Mac.
